Collaborating with Robinson Films:
A Sonic Journey into the Haunting Unknown
The world of horror cinema demands the extraordinary—a twisted narrative, suspenseful moments, and an atmosphere that captures the audience’s imagination. Trevor Robinson, the mastermind behind Robinson Films, embodies these attributes with skillful execution. His latest creation, “A Knight In The Forest,” brings storytelling and horror to new heights.
Joining this creative force was a truly surreal experience. Our collaborative aim was to produce a soundtrack that transcends typical film music; a sonic landscape that serves as an additional character in the narrative. Among the instruments employed was the Kangling—an instrument made from a human thigh bone—adding an extra layer of eeriness to the soundscape.
Through detailed consultations and shared aspirations for the film’s emotional trajectory, we orchestrated a soundtrack filled with haunting melodies, crescendos of terror, and carefully placed musical cues. The result? A piece of art that enhances the fright and suspense, making the experience unforgettable.
When you find yourself engrossed in the fearsome world of “A Knight In The Forest,” pay attention to the soundtrack. The haunting sounds you hear may very well be the echo of a Kangling, bearing my sonic signature.
